Hello, Crazyjoe101. Yes, I do cave guides. However, I did not intend to get my cave guides out until much later. Simply because I am spending a lot of time outside of these mini guides making the all explorer note location video for Aberration. Once that is completed, I will shift my focus to the remaining content. Which caves are you looking for specifically, the Aberration Artefact caves, or is there anything else you'd like me to cover? Will start making notes on them in my free time so I can get those guides out for you sooner.

That would not be an issue caused by this mod, all this does is forces a dino wipe to occur. The dino level issue would be an issue either caused by another mod or your settings but I can't say which based off what you have said.

@@Ninjakiller560 yeah I did a Dino wipe using both this mod and the vanilla Dino wipe option at the same time, probably causing the issue

Doing two dino wipes would not cause the problem; however, after any dino wipe, it takes up to 30 real-life minutes for a map to fully repopulate. So, unless you began searching shortly after the wipe, I am not sure how the highest level creature you discovered was a level 40. Are you on a single-player or unofficial dedicated server? Do either of them have the single player setting turned on? What other mods do you use? What is your server's difficulty setting?

The 80% performance boost will help you with that when it comes out

Yes, if you collect the Bob Tall Tales notes on Aberration, your level cap increases by 5, and defeating Rockwell Boss increases it by 15. So, in total, you can gain another 20 levels. However, the level cap is currently broken due to a bug in the game, so there is no point in collecting notes until it is fixed.

@Cola-op sadly for some players it is bugged and for others it is not. We need to wait for wildcard to fix it.

@@Ninjakiller560 so I think I found a fix, I just closed ark completely exit steam and upload char then download and you should gain experience afterwards

I tried it with my alternate character and had no luck, unfortunately. I even lost my Rockwell levels. Sigh. I hope they fix this soon, as it happened with scorched earth.

@@Ninjakiller560 that’s very unfortunate, thought I had it bad. Mine seems to have works with minimal visuals missing like the amount of experience you need for the next level doesn’t appear and my implant icon is still flashing green

Hey mate, I just used the spawn blocker mod and was able to remove the Yi ling from the game without any problems. Can you tell me more about what you did? As I want to see where the error occurred, because I want to make a guide on how to remove creatures for Ark Ascend and ensure the video is useful for everyone, but finding errors allows me to build a script that covers all of the bases and questions.

@@Ninjakiller560 thanks so much for the help! I haven’t tried the ini because that scares me a bit. I’m just afraid I’ll mess something up permanently. When I did the blocker I just activated it, like with the option on the left that is more of the removal instead of limiting the number. I didn’t mess with the limiting one, where you type on a number, I only checked the box. But then I destroyed wild Dino’s, and it seemed to work for like 20 min, and then they spawned again. If you haven’t already try and play for a while after where you think it’s working, leave the area and come back, just spend some time and I bet it will repopulate. But I would love if you could tell me where I’m going wrong! I’ll help your research however I can!

Hello Twizington, I've been experimenting with the mod, just as you have, and I've not encountered any issues. I followed the exact same steps you've described, yet there were no Yi lings appearing at all. Even at the time of my writing this response, there are still no sightings of them. I'm a bit puzzled as to where things might have gone wrong on your end. Did you remember to save and close correctly? Regarding the game.ini file, there's no need to be apprehensive about it. I'm going to guess that you're using a Nitrado server, but this procedure can be applied universally, whether it's for single player mode or a non-Nitrado server. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you: Turn off the server Open the configuration files Ensure you're in the game.ini file Insert the remove code anywhere in the file provided it's under the header [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] Save the changes & restart your server Hop onto your server, perform a dino wipe, and bid farewell to the Yi ling. I hope this helps clarify things for you!

@@Ninjakiller560 I am so confused why I’m having such a different experience. I am on single player. All I do/did was: Download mod Go to menu Search “Yi Ling” Save and exit after clicking the box Destroy wild Dino’s Wait I’ve done it 3 or 4 times and the Yi Ling always respawns after a while. I also have the mod for higher level Dino’s, I wonder if that could affect it. I guess I should just do the ini, that makes it sound a lot less scary how you said it. I’ll go tackle that the next time I’m on. Thanks a million for the Incredible response.

That is to get the 10 levels you need to collect all explorer notes from all the current story maps. So in this case it is THe Island, Scorched Earth and Aberration. When this video came out, you only needed to collect the island notes to get the levels because it was the only map out at the time.

As of right now you only need to collect the notes from The Island, Scorched Earth and Aberration. However when the full game comes out, yes you will need all the notes from every single map in the game.

An upset player did not like I was giving away free codes, so they put in a false report about my pastebin and led to the deletion of nearly all 200 files. Unfortunately, Pastebin removes the files without warning, and despite my numerous emails to get it reinstated, nothing worked. As a result, I am in the proccess of all of the codes to my Discord. Thank you for commenting on this post because I forgot to include an update in the pinned comment on this video. I'll do it now.

Hey mate, It sounds like you're asking how to upload your character from your friend's server to use on another map. If that's the case, you don't need to change any settings shown in that video. By default, Nitrado servers allow you to upload your character to the cloud, which you can then download on another server that permits character downloads or even in single-player mode.
